My offensive model calculates Points Created (the total point value a player contributed) and Points Lost (the total point value a player cost his team. Weighing these values against each other allows us to evaluate a player’s offensive efficiency. The player’s Points Created per 48 are a pace-adjusted measurement of the player’s production rate. The methodology is explained in detail in my Basketball Bible.
